Dominic Raab is facing a battle for his seat. The Foreign Secretary is rapidly losing support in his (previously safe) Esher and Walton constituency in Surrey, and is being rivalled by the buoyant Liberal Democrats.
Why is that? Well, for one, Raab’s constituents voted convincingly against Brexit, and yet Raab continues to push for a hard departure from the European Union.
He also has a history of saying some pretty dire things, not least that feminists are “obnoxious bigots” and that British workers are “amongst some of the worst idlers in the world”.
And so, we ventured Walton-on-Thames, to see how voters are feeling about Raab, and if they were shocked by some of his past comments. Click below to see what they said. You can also share the video on Twitter and on Facebook.
