Hungary’s far-right Prime Minister has heaped praise on Boris Johnson – escalating the bromance between the two leaders.
Speaking at a news conference today, Viktor Orban said that Johnson is “one of Europe’s bravest politicians”.
Orban told journalists that the EU should be “generous” towards the UK after Brexit – praising his new pal.
The Hungarian leader also paid tribute to Johnson’s recent election victory, claiming “the whole world was against” him.
This comes after one of Johnson’s advisers, Tim Montgomerie, praised Hungary and said that the UK could learn lessons from its (uber conservative) family policy.
When the Prime Minister of the UK is making friends with the far-right, you know something is seriously wrong.
